Chris Burgess is an internationally recognized expert in the qualification and validation of analytical instrumentation and systems and has:
28 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry primarily with Glaxo in Quality Assurance and Analytical R &D
MSc and PhD degrees from Loughborough University in Analytical Chemistry.
He is
a Chartered Chemist
a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC)
eligible for nomination as a Qualified Person
on the Indicative Register of Analytical Chemists of the RSC
a Chartered European Chemist.
a qualified ISO/IEC Guide 17025 assessor.
Dr. Burgess has published over 60 papers and books in analytical chemistry and analytical science. His most recent book is Valid Analytical Methods & Procedures, a handbook for the Analytical Methods Committee of the Analytical Division of The Royal Society of Chemistry and published in 2000.
