Each 5 vial set contains 4 standard solutions in 6ml borosilicate glass vials (Standards 1 to 4) sealed with crimped aluminium overseal with PTFE faced septa and 1 reference solution (nominal contents 4ml).
The absorbance values of standards 2, 3 and 4 are nominally 75%, 50% and 25% of Standard 1.

These linearity standards are traceable to NIST (National Institute for Science and Technology, USA).
All standards have an unopened shelf life of 24 months when stored correctly at temperatures below 25°C and come with a certificate of traceability.
